Why do cat’s eyes glow in the dark? A cats eyes shine at night because they have a reflective layer which contains tiny little crystals. This layer is called the tapetum lucidium. When the light hits the cats eyes these crystal case the light to bounce back it makes the cat’s eyes appear to be glowing in the dark.

Who was Garfield? Garfield the cartoon celebrity cat was the genius idea of cartoonist Jim Davis.
